Tufting is a type of textile weaving in which wool is tufted through a backing fabric layer with an electric hand-held tufting machine. It is an ancient technique for making warm garments and carpets. It has since been adapted and can be used to make an array of objects; decorative household pieces, wall-hangings, coasters, framed mirrors, table runners, rugs, and more.
I create one-of-a-kind limited edition tufted textile pieces. Sourcing ethical and up-cycled wool, yarn and materials to produce my unique fiber artwork. Each tufting frame that I fill hosts between two and ten pieces.
